Last Dawn
by Patricia R.D.

Leaning against the wall to avoid falling, Dawn made it to the dimly lit street, leaving a trail of crimson and pain behind her. He stayed in the alley, an amused smirk on his face as he watched his prey trying to get away. Foolish girl, you should know better...

She tripped and fell, her mouth half opened to let out a scream when powerful hands grabbed and pulled back into the alley. He kissed her with gentleness that bellied his former violence. Yet she knew this was it. The last moments of her life. In Angel’s arms.

Not Angelus.
