One Girl In All The World...Or So

Catherine was there when it happened, gaping in amazement as Lindsay kicked the soccerball not just in the goal, but through the goal. She seemed stronger, quicker, and there was a gleam in her eyes that Catherine hadn't seen since Eddie died.

So, later, she wasn't too surprised when two women -- one small and red-haired and the other strong and brunette -- walked into the station and asked to see her.

"It's about your daughter," the red-haired one said. "She's stronger now, isn't she?"

When Catherine looked up with surprise, the brunette smiled and gestured towards the door. "Shall we talk?"
