Swimming With Sharks
by Twinkledru J.

"Oh, jeez!" Roxie squeals when Billy walks into her dressing room with roses. "You came!"

"You bet I came," he says, grinning like a shark. "You two are somethin', kid."

"We are, ain't we?" Roxie is still in her costume, still beaming, still panting from the show, because it's all still a thrill to her. She's seated, smiling broadly into the mirror at herself, because it's a whole mirror, a whole goddamn dressing room, all to herself.

"You are," Billy says, more quietly, right next to her now, and tucks a wisp of hair out of her face. "No hard feelings, right?"

"You kiddin'?" Roxie asks. "Right now," she giggles, taking one of the pins out of her hair, "right now, I'd probably even forgive Fred, the bastard. You got no idea how great it feels, Billy, bein' up there."

"I can imagine," he answers, behind her now, the flowers on her table, and his hands are on her shoulders. "Feels pretty good, huh?"

"To say the least," she says, playing dumb as ever and smiling at the sight of the two of them in the mirror.

"You know, when she called me, Mama said you'd be huge if I could just get you off," Billy says, brushing aside her hair and placing a quick kiss at her neck. "She also said you were the cutest damn thing ever to hit Murderess Row. She was right about that."

Roxie giggles again. "Billy, you already got me off," she says, making sure he doesn't think she's aware of the double entendre.

He grins, eyeing their reflections, just as she is. "You sure about that?" he asks, shark teeth flashing.

"Good," says a dark voice from the doorway, and both their heads snap around to see Velma there, smirking. "You got that outta your system. Why don't you take a hike, Billy?"

Billy stares at Velma for a few moments, then at Roxie, and his smile spreads as he puts two and two together. It doesn't take long, he's a bright boy. Finally, he chuckles. "Sure thing, Velma," he says, still smiling easily as he puts on his hat. He pats Roxie's cheek fondly, and he and Velma smile at each other cruelly as he walks out of the dressing room.

"What are you doing still hangin' around him?" Velma asks, closing the door.

"Ah, I was just havin' a little fun with him," Roxie grins, grabbing onto the sash of Velma's robe and pulling the other woman into her lap.

"I bet you were," Velma smiles, kissing Roxie's neck. Roxie slides her hand up the back of Velma's thigh and over the curve of her ass. Moans into the Velma's throat as she captures Roxie's mouth with her own.

"Different kinda fun from this," Roxie adds unnecessarily, finally pulling her mouth from Velma's.

Velma grins like a shark.
