Sweet Love
by Ting Ting

His eyes held sympathy as he stared at his friend. Atleast it was sympathy a second ago.

"Didn't I tell you not to go out during this time of the year?"

"I'm sorry, Red! I couldn't help it... they were calling to me!"

"What were they saying? 'Come out, little chocolate, so we can eat you?'"

Yellow hung his head down and stared at his feet. Red sighed and took out his chocolate-aid kit.

"I told you to be careful, but no, you had to go and get yourself bitten."

Yellow continued to stare at his shoes as Red added more chocolate filling to the top of his head.

"Maybe it's my nut... they like the nut." Red laughed.

"Because everyone likes nuts."

Yellow eyed and Red skeptically. Was that sincerity in Red's voice?

Red patched up the top of Yellow's shell and kissed his head. Yellow's giggles turned into howls of laughter when Red decided he'd tickle him.

After much rolling around, Red ceased the play with a quick kiss to Yellow's lips.

"Melts in your mouth, not in your hands," Red said as he licked his lips. "And next time, maybe I'll take a bite out of your shell."
